University of the Sunshine Coast doesn't publish a fixed template, so this uses a general format that covers what it asks for.
The rules at a glance
- When you need one
- When AI is used to prepare an assessment and the task instructions or Course Coordinator require acknowledgement.
- Prompts and outputs
- Listing every prompt is not always needed; use one conversation thread per assignment and include a summary of that conversation.
- Must include
- clear acknowledgement that GenAI was used
- name of the specific tool
- link to the tool if available
- what you asked the AI (prompt or conversation summary)
- how you used the output
- whether you verified, rewrote or adapted it
- how you assessed accuracy and relevance
- Also note
- Check each task's instructions for whether AI is permitted
- Do not ask AI to reproduce copyrighted material or upload licensed library content
- Avoid entering confidential information; UniSC Copilot is the secure option
